Luke Jeremy, how are you already THREE months old?! You have been so much fun this month and I have loved watching your big personality shine through!
Weight: 14 lbs, 8 oz. What a chunk!
Length: 24 inches? (just a guess)
Diaper Size: We have graduated into size 2 diapers!
Clothing Size: Luke is still wearing a few three month outfits but its mostly the 3-6 month or 6 month clothes. I cannot believe how fast this one is growing!
Nicknames: Big Guy, Lukey Pookey, Sunshine, Poop Monster
Health: We won’t have our next doctor’s appointment until 4 months, and so far, this Little Man has been the picture of health! Praise the Lord!
Sleep: Luke has been consistently sleeping from about 9:00 PM to about 11:00 PM (waking up for a bottle) then going back to sleep till about 4:30 or 5:00 AM. He will have another bottle and then go back down until about 7:30 or so. We don’t really have strict schedule during the day, but the past few days I’m starting to try to get in the routine of laying him down in his crib around lunch time for a nap so I can get a few things done around the house. So far so good!
Diet: Still drinking breast milk…While I have still been considering formula, I haven’t made any transition yet.
Loves: Luke has really been very content when we lay him down on his activity mat that plays music and has the little animals hanging down. Just a few days ago, he has began to start reaching for them and occasionally will grab one for a second. He finds joy in funny noises like the “tooting” noises (such a little boy) and fake sneezing. Mommy’s real sneezes sometimes scare him!
Dislikes: He still isn’t too much of a fan of tummy time, but yesterday he spent a good 5 minutes smiling and “talking” before he got tired of it!
Other Random Things: Luke rolled over for the first time on August 31 from his tummy to his back! I got video right before and shut it off and right when he rolled I turned it back on again.. missed the action but got his not so pleasant reaction afterwards!
Luke is getting so close to sitting in his “Bumbo” seat for a good length of time!

We also closed on and moved into our new house this month! We have been working on getting Luke’s nursery all put together and it is almost done! I will do a post about it whenever it is finally complete.
This week will be another week of “Firsts” for Luke. His first high school football game to watch his Aunt Mel march and his first trip to Missouri to visit G-Daddy’s family! The week after that will be Luke’s first Texas A&M football game which just so happens to be the inaugural game in the newly completed Kyle Field!
